Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shop Assistant to join our team in.
As a Shop Assistant/Welder, you will be responsible for assisting in various tasks related to fabrication.
This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Assist with the fabrication and assembly of Res-Q-Jack and other metal products - Operate machinery such as grinder, sander, robotic welder and forklifts - Perform welding tasks using welding techniques - Use precision tools such as micrometers and calipers to measure and cut materials - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required - Proficient in using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools - Familiarity with stick welding techniques - Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery safely - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Please note that this position requires physical stamina, as it involves standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy is essential.
