The Community Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the property.
The position requires a person who is motivated, flexible and a team player.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2-5 years experience in the HUD Project Based Voucher program and able to take ownership of their work environment and be able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the properly, including, but not limited to leasing, maintenance, accounting and customer service Manage the daily operations of the office and maintenance staffs including hiring, coaching, performance, training, development and termination Ensure all office staff is aware of and complies with local laws pertaining to property management, HUD rules and regulations Ensure all staff is aware of and complies with company policies and procedures pertaining to leasing Ensure all resident certifications are completed in a timely fashion Ensure the property is prepared for all agency audits including MOR and REAC audits - Handle resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner - Coordinate and oversee the leasing process, including application review, lease preparation, and move-in/move-out procedures - Oversee maintenance requests and coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely resolution - Maintain accurate records and files related to leasing, resident information, and property maintenance - Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality service delivery
Experience:
- Minimum of 2- 5
years of experience as a Community Manager - Strong knowledge of HUD Rules/Policies, leasing procedures, contracts, and fair housing laws - Experience with data entry and file management systems - Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically - Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to property management Temp to perm position (could be direct/perm depending on person experience) $ 45K-65K Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm.
