Job Description:
The Deputy Clerk to the Legislature is appointed by the Clerk and supports the Clerk in the day-to-day operations of the Legislature.
This involves preparing meeting agenda and minutes, processing accounts payable, filing and tracking approved contracts, acting as liaison between members of the Legislature and Executive Departments, preparing reports, and assisting with preparation of materials reviewed by Legislators in the legislative process.
Candidate must be available to attended weekly evening meetings.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Associates Degree and four years of clerical experience, at least one of which in a supervisory capacity.
Proficiency in word processing and written communication.
Certified Notary Public preferred.
