Summary:
Quality Specialist ensures that products in production meet the specification standards necessary for them to be forwarded to the last production stage.
They evaluate products to make sure product specifications are met and advise responsible parties when these standards are not met.
Must have the ability to catch minuscule errors, so ideal candidates for this position are thorough and meticulous.
Candidates must also be able to collaborate with other workers to develop solutions, Specific Duties and
Responsibilities:
Analyze product samples quality, durability, and product specifications before the final stage of production.
Assess quality strategies periodically and help determine best practices and improvements that could lead to fewer problems.
Communicate with team members when problems arise and offer possible solutions to help correct any mistakes during manufacturing.
Document quality practices, able to navigate & process workflow through ERP system.
Ability to test products during production by running specific tests of quality.
Ensure compliance to AS9100 and ISO 9000 certifications, through specification interpretation, writing procedures, and maintaining the QMS.
Compares product with parts list/drawing to ensure completion of assembly.
Conducts and supports the first article process, data collection and documentation, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and
Experience:
5 years experience in Quality/inspections Math Skills/Statistics Experience with ISO/QS/TS/AS Management System Job Type:
