We are seeking a skilled individual for Die Set-up Position to join our team.
As a Die Set-up person, you will be responsible for setting up individual dies on a die plate as outlined on prepared drawings.
Duties:
- Set up dies on die plate per drawing.
Measurements are to 1/32 of an inch, must understand cumulative measurements - Use measuring instruments to ensure accurate dimensions and quality of finished products - Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the production process - Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment and tooling is properly stored
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of machine operations - Experience in die set-up and operation is highly preferred - Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues - Ability to work effectively in a team environment
